How a capacitor keeps TIME
// WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
A resistor makes a capacitor fill slowly: τ = R × C (10 kΩ × 100 µF = 1 s), 63 % after 1τ, full after 5τ — that's a timer.
// LESSON NOTES
Part 2: a capacitor is a CLOCK ⏱️
Put a resistor in front of it and it fills SLOWLY — fast at first, then slower and slower.
τ = R × C
10 kΩ × 100 µF = 1 second
After 1τ → 63 % full. After 5τ → full.
Double R (or C) = double the time. That's how 555 timers, blinkers and delays work.
